After much planning over the last 12 months to replace our existing machines, we were pleased to finally take delivery yesterday of two brand new Genie machines. These will be used for all IPAF MEWP training, which we run most weekdays throughout the year, investing in the future of Britannia.
The GS3232 Scissor Lift has stabilisers and reaches a height of 32ft, the Genie Z-45/25J Boom reaches a height of 45ft! Both machines will be used for the standard MEWP training as well as PAL+.
Receiving training on these size machines, rather than smaller equivalents, mean delegates are trained and tested on machines very similar to those they are likely to encounter on site, giving them greater competency and confidence using these during their working day.
