Aims & Objectives
The course is aimed at personnel who manage, monitor, control and use access scaffolds for maintenance and construction
The objective of this training course is to provide information and raise awareness on the application and basic requirements of scaffolding performance standards and industry recognised good practice.
Completion of this course does not provide the relevant knowledge to carry out scaffold inspections (they will need to attend the 3 day Scaffold Inspection Course)
The training objectives:
Delegates will gain the knowledge to identify the core components of a safe scaffold. This insight into scaffolding best practice ensures those working with scaffolding understand what they should expect from a scaffolding contractor.
The course includes elements of working at height training which enables a greater understanding of the potential dangers of working on or with scaffolding.
